I spent the longest day of the year - summer solstice - in Anchorage, Alaska. 22 hours of daylight filled with celebrations and events.  It was a beautiful adventure that started out in a posh hotel, moved to a hostel, a train trip and a cabin on the water. The train trip was on the Alaska Railroad Corporation from Anchorage to Seward. The cabin was Seward and that day was spent kayaking on the water and hiking in incredible nature. I look forward to future trips exploring more parts of the Alaskan landscape.
